The SV280B offers large-frame power and performance with the efficiency of a medium-frame machine. Industry-leading visibility and an all-new and intuitive operator interface with 8-inch LCD multifunction display improves overall performance, and the 74-horsepower machine features standard (3,050 psi and 24.2 gpm) and high-flow (3,050 psi and 37.6 gpm) auxiliary hydraulics — all while retaining a maintenance-free Tier 4 Final emissions solution that requires no fluids or filter replacement. Visibility and Comfort CASE skid steers feature industry-leading visibility with a new backup camera (operational in both forward and reverse), cab-wide rearview mirror, large front and side windows, a low entry threshold for easy entry and greater visibility down to the bucket, a low sloping rear hood and 360-degree lighting. CASE vertical-lift skid steers also feature a low-profile H-link that improves rear visibility compared to the competition. Each model features one of the industry’s widest cabs, and new control handles provide more comfortable operation throughout the day. Redesigned controls, cupholders and air vents further create more legroom and comfort. Optimal Control CASE skid steers are available in electro-hydraulic, mechanical and mechanical hand and foot configurations. New electro-hydraulic models with the all-new 8-inch LCD multi-function display give operators the most control, with easy switching between ISO and H operating patterns, the ability to save operator profiles and application settings, and the flexibility to set total machine responsiveness to low, medium or high — or to independently set loader arm and drive response to meet exact operator preference. Productivity and Performance The SV280B was designed to provide added operating capacity (2,800 pounds) to a popular size class/performance range while retaining the simplicity and maintenance-free Tier 4 Final emissions solution of a smaller machine. And yet, at 74 horsepower, the SV280B provides excellent torque and breakout forces, and the machine powers hundreds of attachments with standard (3,050 psi and 24.2 gpm) and high-flow (3,050 psi and 37.6) auxiliary hydraulics. Ease of Ownership All critical checks and service points are grouped at the rear of the machine for easy access, and the all-new 8-inch LCD multi-function display provides the operator with real-time data on machine operation and performance. At 74 horsepower, the SV280B features a maintenance-free Tier 4 Final emissions solution that requires no fluids and no lifetime filter service or replacement (no diesel particulate filter (DPF). Tier 4 Final HPCR, EXTERNAL CEGR Why this solution: This Tier 4 Final solution requires no new actions or upkeep and delivers best-in-class performance so operators can focus entirely on the work at hand. How it works: The high-pressure common rail (HPCR) system electronically controls fuel injection for greater fuel economy through more efficient fuel burn. With Cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (CEGR), exhaust gases are cooled, blended with fresh air and then returned to the cylinder. The additional particulate matter is managed by the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC). The DOC converts emissions into neutral gasses and automatically burns it off using heat from the exhaust. What this means to you: This solution is a maintenance-free solution, requiring no costly DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) to replace and no new fluids to add. Powered by an FPT engine.
